 What are mainly considered the best wines of the world? A gourmet or a connoisseur of wine OK: what he or she wants to have in their wine cellar?

 Vintages diversify time varies. What is good one year may not be good the next.

I mostly buy Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon or a German Prosecco.

Continuing a longstanding lore on April Fool’s Day, a number of companies on the Web issued phony announcements. These weren’t undeniably pranks meant to fool — companies are overly discreet not to mislead the masses these days — but many of them did make us laugh.

We surfed the Web and compiled our favorites below. (Differ? See a better one? Tell us what you liked in the comments section!)

Few companies dish out more fake products on April 1 than Google . It doesn’t fail today with more than a dozen jokes, including a “Really Advanced Search” choice that supposedly lets you search pages with “embarrassing grammatical faux pas,” and a fiber bar endorsed by the mayors of both Kansas Town, Kan., and Kansas City, Mo. (Find all of Google’s jokes here .)

But its pièce de résistance is a new by-product called Quest, which uses Google Maps to transport us back to the 1980s with maps in the opulence of 8-bit Nintendo video games. This isn’t just a funny video that takes us back to the Nintendo days (sentinel the video below) — Google actually overlaid the map of the United States in this 8-bit form. Search for your hometown here . What is phony, of course, is the cartridge that Google says you can publicize into the Nintendo console — just be sure to blow on the cartridge first!

Ex focusing on its roots - Peterborough Examiner - Ontario, CA

This year, Peterborough List has a new battle cry: "Back to our b-bottom undisturbed in the roots." When the display returns to the Commons Morrow August 12 to 15, it promises excitement of his new dream. .. and the largest midway she ever had.

'Carnie kid' always returns to midway (Carny Town - Traveling ...

Makyla Conklin has a Conko yokel hooked up to the back of her car.

When she hands over a commendation humorist or ID, people often do a doubletake, before asking, “Conklin? As in the Conklin fairs?”

The 18-year-old, self-described “carnie kid” is acquainted with to the acknowledgement.

After all, her artistic-grandfather James Wesley “Patty” Conklin was the father of Conklin Shows, which had been North America’s largest wayfaring pleasure and midway assort until it was bought by North American Midway Pleasure (NAME) in 2004.

Makyla grew up on the midway and, even after her kinsmen’s midway players was bought out, still works summers at the carnivals.
