Should I work for vector marketing/cutco knives flat pay position ?

 I am a college assessor, today I stopped at a work table learner providing information for the summer. I expected an interview with a company called Vector Marketing, which sells Cutco knives.

 I had an interview scheduled with them last summer and something seemed strange about them. I looked up some information and gen were saying you have to pay for them first, like around $ 300.00.

Oh, we get that it’s a travesty. It’s justifiable so not-slapstick as to be bizarre.
