Question on J.A. Henckels Cutlery Sets?

 I was the theory to get my girlfriend a good knife set and I was wondering what remains is Henckels knives between Made in Germany vs. those made in Spain. Those in Germany are a lot more misery and I wonder if the cost is worth it.
