I have a burnt stainless steel kitchen knife, is there a way I can fix this? ?

 My oher half seems to have burned a kitchen knife in stainless steel. I lack a way to solve this problem because it is not for me!
It is the knife that was burned real, pet is fine.

No serration in any surgery because these blades tend to rip and fly, in addition to cutting. Cutco's gimmick is to offer free sharpening for existence. Who needs that inconvenience? Do as recommended below and you'll never need such a service. And Cutco knives are not well-balanced in the helping hand. I'd steer clear of them as they do not represent value in any stretch of the imagination. Reminisce over, NEVER get serrated except for ONE bread knife. Once consumers experience quality cutlery as specified here, such as the German names, including Wusthof, and my uncharted, relatively inexpensive Brazilian recommendation for Mundial (shop for them at Amazon.com), they never go back to the other, lesser brands like Cutco.
